Dangerous goods (DG): your shipment from China, compliant and on time

Many legal, everyday products are classified as dangerous goods (DG) for international transport. A wrong classification can cause delays, surcharges or even your cargo being rejected at port. We handle it for you, end to end.

What are dangerous goods?

These are products that, due to their properties (flammability, reactivity, toxicity, pressure…), can pose a risk during transport. They don't have to be "unusual" products: what you see as an ordinary box, the carrier may see as a UN number with its hazard class, packing group and acceptance conditions. So what matters isn't whether it "looks" dangerous, but how the regulations classify it.

Everyday products that ship as DG

Three regulations, depending on the transport mode

IMDG

Sea. The code governing dangerous cargo by container ship. The most common route from China.

IATA

Air. The DGR rules for air transport, stricter (especially with lithium batteries).

ADR

Road. The regulation for the road leg, at origin and destination.

How we handle it

  1. We review your product's safety data sheet (SDS/MSDS) to know what we're dealing with.
  2. We classify it correctly: UN number, hazard class and packing group.
  3. We choose a carrier and route that accept your cargo, negotiating the space.
  4. We prepare the paperwork: DG declaration, labelling and approved packaging.
  5. We coordinate customs and tracking through to delivery.
