Shipping from China to Kuwait

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. Kuwait imports a huge range of consumer and industrial goods from China: we handle your shipment end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Kuwait that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

We know the China–Gulf route

We know Chinese carriers, ports and export formalities inside out. We pick the best combination of factory, Chinese port and service to Kuwait.

We assist you in English

We work in writing and keep everything documented in English, the common standard in international shipping, and in Spanish when you need it. No language barrier with the origin.

Entry ports in Kuwait

Kuwait concentrates its container trade at the ports of Shuwaikh and Shuaiba. We pick the service that connects best to cut cost and time.

Shuwaikh

Kuwait's main commercial port, next to the capital, and the great gateway for container cargo. Well connected with the metropolitan area and consumption centres.

Shuaiba

An industrial port in the south of the country, strong in bulk, industrial and petrochemical cargo, as well as container. A good alternative for heavy and project cargo.

Doha Port (Kuwait)

A smaller port northwest of the capital, useful for light traffic and shallower-draught vessels. It complements Shuwaikh.

Via Jebel Ali (transhipment)

For some services, cargo is transhipped at Jebel Ali (UAE) and links on to Kuwait. One more option depending on route and frequency.

We also operate with other Kuwaiti points: Kuwait (airport KWI) · Shuwaikh · Shuaiba

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 22–30 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Shuwaikh or Shuaiba, with direct services or via transhipment at Jebel Ali.

Air · 5–8 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via Kuwait (KWI). Fast and tracked in real time.

Door to door (DDP)

We handle everything, including import duties and taxes, and deliver to your address. You just receive the goods.

Customs and taxes when importing into Kuwait

We take care of clearance. Kuwait is part of the Gulf customs union (GCC), with a common 5% tariff on most goods. As of today, Kuwait does not yet apply VAT on imports, and its introduction is not expected in the short term; we keep you informed of the regime in force at the time of your shipment. To import you should have an import licence and a registered importer in the country. We help with classification and coordinate clearance with a local customs agent, so your cargo enters without surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and review the paperwork.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. International transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Kuwait: 5% duty and local formalities.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in the country.
