Routes

Shipping from China to South Korea

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. South Korea is very close to China and linked to it by a free trade agreement: one of the fastest and most advantageous routes there is. We handle your shipment end to end —sea or air transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Korea that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

We leverage the China-Korea FTA

There is a bilateral free trade agreement: with the Form K certificate of origin, much Chinese cargo enters Korea at greatly reduced or zero duty. We make sure your shipment carries it.

Proximity: very fast transits

Korea is a step away from China. By sea it's a few days, by air a matter of hours. Busan is also one of the world's great transhipment ports.

We assist you in English

We work in writing and keep everything documented in English, the common standard in international shipping, and in Spanish when you need it. No language barrier with the origin.

Ports and entry points in South Korea

The best point depends on where your final destination in Korea is and how urgent it is. Busan dominates the country's sea trade; Incheon serves the Seoul area. We pick what connects best.

Busan

South Korea's great port and one of the largest in the world, a huge transhipment hub. The main entry for the whole country, with direct and very frequent services from China.

Incheon

The port serving the Seoul metropolitan area, in the west and very close to China. Ideal if your destination is the capital or its industrial surroundings.

Gwangyang

A large industrial port in the south, specialised in containers and bulk, the natural gateway for heavy and chemical industry in the southwest.

Pyeongtaek

An expanding port south of Seoul, closely tied to the automotive sector and manufacturing. A good alternative for the central-west area.

We also operate with other Korean points: Seoul (airport Incheon ICN) · Busan (airport Gimhae PUS) · Ulsan

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 1–5 days

The most cost-effective option and very fast thanks to proximity. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Busan (south) or Incheon (Seoul area).

Air · 1–2 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via Incheon (ICN) or Gimhae (PUS). Extremely fast thanks to proximity.

Express

For samples and small shipments, door-to-door courier in just a few days.

Customs and taxes when importing into South Korea

We take care of clearance. South Korea and China share a bilateral Free Trade Agreement (CSKFTA): with the Form K certificate of origin, much Chinese cargo enters at greatly reduced or zero duty. What is always paid is the import VAT of 10%, calculated on the customs value plus duty. Clearance is processed with the Korea Customs Service (KCS) electronically. We make sure to leverage the Form K and coordinate clearance at destination, so your cargo enters without surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and prepare the paperwork, including the Form K.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best port or airport.
  3. International transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Korea: duty (reduced with Form K), VAT and formalities.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in the country.
