Routes

Shipping from China to Taiwan

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Taiwan is a step away from the Chinese coast, with extremely intense trade across the strait: one of the shortest and most frequent routes there is. We handle your shipment end to end —sea or air transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Taiwan that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Proximity: very fast transits

Taiwan is very close to the Chinese coast. By sea it's one or two days, by air a matter of hours. Cross-strait traffic is huge and very frequent.

We leverage ECFA

ECFA provides tariff cuts for a list of products in cross-strait trade. We check whether your goods are included so you pay as little as possible.

We assist you in English

We work in writing and keep everything documented in English, the common standard in international shipping, and in Spanish when you need it. No language barrier with the origin.

Ports and entry points in Taiwan

The best point depends on where your final destination in Taiwan is and how urgent it is. Kaohsiung dominates the south; Keelung and Taipei serve the north. We pick what connects best.

Kaohsiung

Taiwan's largest port, in the south, and one of the world's great ports. A huge container hub and the main entry for the south of the island.

Keelung

The northern port, next to Taipei, the natural gateway for the capital and its industrial area. Very well connected with the ports of southern China.

Taichung

A large port on the west coast, in the centre of the island, very active in containers and bulk. Ideal if your destination is in the central area.

Taipei (Port of Taipei)

A modern port in the north that complements Keelung, specialised in containers and well connected to the Taipei metropolitan area.

We also operate with other Taiwanese points: Taipei (airport Taoyuan TPE) · Kaohsiung (airport KHH) · Taichung

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 1–4 days

The most cost-effective option and very fast thanks to proximity. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Kaohsiung (south) or Keelung/Taipei (north).

Air · 1–2 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via Taoyuan (TPE) or Kaohsiung (KHH). Extremely fast thanks to proximity.

Express

For samples and small shipments, door-to-door courier in just a few days.

Customs and taxes when importing into Taiwan

We take care of clearance. In cross-strait trade, ECFA provides tariff cuts for a list of products: we check whether your goods are included. What is always paid is the business tax (VAT) of 5%, calculated on the customs value plus duty. Clearance is processed with Taiwan Customs electronically. We make sure to apply ECFA where applicable and coordinate clearance at destination, so your cargo enters without surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and prepare the paperwork and certificate of origin.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best port or airport.
  3. International transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Taiwan: duty (cut with ECFA where applicable), tax and formalities.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere on the island.
