Shipping from China to Egypt

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. Egypt sits on the Suez Canal route and has a very strict digital customs system: we handle your shipment end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Egypt that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

We handle the ACI (Nafeza) from origin

Egypt requires registering the shipment on the Nafeza platform and obtaining the ACID number before the goods leave China; without it, the cargo is rejected. We file it from origin so there are no blocks.

We assist you in English

We work in writing and keep everything documented in English, the common standard in international shipping, and in Spanish when you need it. No language barrier with the origin.

Entry ports in Egypt

The best port depends on where your final destination in Egypt is. Sitting by the Suez Canal makes Egypt a natural waypoint from Asia. We pick the one that connects best.

Port Said

At the Mediterranean entrance to the Suez Canal, it is one of the region's great transhipment ports (Port Said East terminal). Excellent connection to the Asia–Europe routes and a natural gateway for cargo from China.

Alexandria / Dekheila

The historic great Mediterranean port and the main gateway for northern Egypt and Cairo. It handles much of the country's trade.

Ain Sokhna

A Red Sea port near Suez and Cairo, integrated into the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE). Very useful for cargo arriving via the Indian Ocean without crossing the canal.

Damietta

A large Mediterranean port on the Nile delta, strong in container and bulk. A good alternative for the north of the country.

We also operate with other Egyptian points: Cairo (airport CAI) · Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) · Alexandria (ALY)

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 20–30 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Port Said, Alexandria or Ain Sokhna. The route enters via the Suez Canal; transit times may vary with the Red Sea situation, and we factor that in.

Air · 6–9 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via Cairo (CAI). Fast and tracked in real time.

Door to door (DDP)

We handle everything, including duty and import VAT, and deliver to your address. You just receive the goods.

Customs and taxes when importing into Egypt

We take care of clearance. Egypt has a digital, very strict customs system: every commercial shipment must be registered on the Nafeza platform (ACI advance cargo information system) and obtain an ACID number at least 48 hours before the goods leave China; without that number, the cargo is rejected at destination. Once that's done, duty is settled under the product's classification along with import VAT, at 14%, plus other fees. That's why we file the ACI from origin, in coordination with your Egyptian importer, and coordinate clearance with a local customs agent so your cargo enters without surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We file the ACI (Nafeza) and obtain the ACID number before loading in China.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. International transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Egypt: duty, 14% VAT and formalities.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in the country.
