Shipping from China to Saudi Arabia

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. Saudi Arabia is the Gulf's largest market and has its own certification requirements: we handle your shipment end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Saudi Arabia that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

We handle SABER certification

Many products need a conformity certificate (SABER/SASO) to enter Saudi Arabia. We factor it in from origin so your goods aren't held at customs.

We assist you in English

We work in writing and keep everything documented in English, the common standard in international shipping, and in Spanish when you need it. No language barrier with the origin.

Entry ports in Saudi Arabia

The best port depends on your final destination: the Red Sea suits the west (Jeddah, Mecca, Riyadh) and the Gulf the east. Importing directly avoids overland crossing from other Gulf countries.

Jeddah (Jeddah Islamic Port)

The country's largest port, on the Red Sea, and the great gateway for western and central Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh. A major container hub for the region.

King Abdullah Port (KAP)

A modern, highly efficient private port north of Jeddah, growing fast. An excellent Red Sea alternative for container cargo.

Dammam (King Abdulaziz Port)

The main Saudi Persian Gulf port, the natural gateway for the east of the country and the Eastern Province, near the Jubail industrial hub.

Jubail

A large Gulf industrial port, strong in industrial, petrochemical and project cargo. Useful for heavy, high-volume goods.

We also operate with other Saudi points: Riyadh (airport RUH · dry port) · Jeddah (JED) · Dammam (DMM)

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 20–30 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Jeddah or King Abdullah (Red Sea) or Dammam (Gulf). Red Sea routes may vary with the Suez situation; we plan accordingly.

Air · 5–8 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via Riyadh (RUH), Jeddah (JED) or Dammam (DMM). Fast and tracked in real time.

Door to door (DDP)

We handle everything, including duty, VAT and certification, and deliver to your address. You just receive the goods.

Customs and taxes when importing into Saudi Arabia

We take care of clearance. Saudi Arabia is part of the Gulf customs union (GCC), with a common 5% tariff on most goods (some products carry higher rates to protect local industry). On import, 15% VAT also applies, the highest in the Gulf. A distinctive and very important requirement: many products need the SABER/SASO conformity certificate to be cleared; without it, the goods are held. That's why we prepare it from origin. We help with classification and certification and coordinate clearance with a local customs agent, so your cargo enters without surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and review the paperwork and SABER certification.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. International transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Saudi Arabia: 5% duty, 15% VAT and conformity.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in the country.
