Shipping from China to France

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. We handle your shipment from China to France end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with a close, personal service in Spanish when you need it, and the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in France that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

We know the ground

We know Chinese carriers, ports and export formalities inside out. We pick the best combination of factory, port and carrier to France.

We assist you in Spanish

We work in English by default, the language of international trade, but we can assist you in Spanish. Always in writing, so every detail is clear and on record.

Entry ports in France

The best port depends on where your final destination in France is. We pick the one that connects best to cut inland transport cost and time.

Le Havre

France's main maritime gateway and largest container port. It connects directly with Paris and the whole north via the Seine axis. It's the natural entry point for most cargo coming from Asia.

Marseille-Fos

The major port on the French Mediterranean. Ideal for destinations in southern France and as a gateway towards central Europe. It often offers shorter transit times from China than the northern ports.

Dunkirk

France's third port, on the Belgian border. Very competitive for the industrial north and for cargo continuing into the Benelux. A good option for large volumes.

Fos-sur-Mer · Lyon

Fos (Marseille's industrial zone) and the river/rail link to Lyon, a major inland logistics hub. Useful for distribution towards the southeast and the Rhône corridor.

We also operate with other French ports: Nantes-Saint-Nazaire · La Rochelle · Bordeaux · Sète · Bayonne · Brest · Rouen

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 30–40 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Le Havre, Marseille-Fos or Dunkirk.

Air · 5–7 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via the Paris airports (CDG) and others. Fast and tracked in real time.

Rail · 18–25 days

The China–Europe train, with France as an established destination. The balance between price and speed for inland shipments.

Customs and taxes when importing into France

We take care of clearance. France is part of the EU customs union: to import you need an EORI number and an import declaration (SAD/DAU) is filed. Customs duty (based on the product's TARIC code, common across the EU) and TVA —French VAT, at 20% standard, with reduced rates for some products— are settled. We help with tariff classification and coordinate clearance with a customs agent at destination, so your cargo clears without surprises.

How the EU's common customs works

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and review the paperwork.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. International transport (sea, air or rail) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in France: duty, VAT and formalities.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in France.
