Shipping from China to Germany

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. We handle your shipment from China to Germany end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with a close, personal service in Spanish when you need it, and the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Germany that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

We know the ground

We know Chinese carriers, ports and export formalities inside out. We pick the best combination of factory, port and carrier to Germany.

We assist you in German

We work in writing and can reply in two languages at once: German, your own, and English, the common standard in international shipping. Every detail stays clear and documented for both sides — no language barrier with the origin.

Entry ports in Germany

The best port depends on where your final destination in Germany is. We pick the one that connects best to cut inland transport cost and time.

Hamburg

Germany's largest port and the third in Europe. It's the natural entry point for Asian cargo towards the north and centre of the country, with excellent rail connections across central Europe. Germany's great gateway for trade with China.

Bremerhaven

One of the largest container ports in Europe, alongside Bremen. Very strong in industrial and automotive cargo. A good alternative to Hamburg for northwest Germany and large volumes.

Wilhelmshaven

Germany's only deep-water port (JadeWeserPort), able to receive the world's largest container ships with no tidal restriction. Useful for direct services from Asia with deep-draught vessels.

Duisburg

The world's largest inland port and the main European terminal of the China–Europe train. Although not maritime, it's key for rail cargo from China and as a distribution hub towards western Germany and the Benelux.

We also operate with other German ports: Bremen · Rostock · Lübeck · Kiel · Emden · Cuxhaven

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 30–40 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Hamburg, Bremerhaven or Wilhelmshaven.

Air · 5–7 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via Frankfurt (FRA), Europe's largest air cargo hub, and other airports. Fast and tracked in real time.

Rail · 16–22 days

The China–Europe train, with Duisburg as the major destination terminal. The balance between price and speed for inland shipments.

Customs and taxes when importing into Germany

We take care of clearance. Germany is part of the EU customs union: to import you need an EORI number and an import declaration is filed. Customs duty (based on the product's TARIC code, common across the EU) and import VAT (Einfuhrumsatzsteuer), at 19% standard with a reduced 7% rate for some products, are settled. We help with tariff classification and coordinate clearance with a customs agent at destination, so your cargo clears without surprises.

How the EU's common customs works

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and review the paperwork.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. International transport (sea, air or rail) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Germany: duty, VAT and formalities.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in Germany.
