Scandinavia's largest port and practically the only one with direct ocean services from Asia, with no transshipment. It's the great entry gateway for Chinese cargo into Sweden and the whole Nordic region, with excellent rail connections inland.
The capital's port (including the modern Norvik terminal), well placed for central and eastern Sweden and for Baltic traffic. A good entry for the country's highest-consumption area.
On the Öresund strait, facing Denmark, it's a very efficient container port and the gateway to southern Sweden. A good alternative for the Scania region and the connection with Copenhagen.
Together with Copenhagen via the Öresund bridge, it forms one of northern Europe's largest logistics areas (Copenhagen Malmö Port). Useful for southern Sweden and integration with Denmark.

We take care of clearance. Sweden is part of the EU customs union: to import you need an EORI number and an import declaration is filed. Customs duty (based on the product's TARIC code, common across the EU) and import VAT (moms), at 25% standard with reduced 12% and 6% rates for some products, are settled. In Sweden, VAT-registered companies usually account for import VAT in their periodic return with the Tax Agency (Skatteverket), a cash-flow advantage. Although Sweden keeps its own currency (the krona, SEK), EU duties are calculated in euros. We help with tariff classification and coordinate clearance with a customs agent at destination.
