Shipping from China to Argentina

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. Argentina has a particular, shifting import framework: precisely why it pays to have a partner who follows it closely. We handle your shipment end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Argentina that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

Mastery of the transpacific route

We know Chinese carriers, ports and export formalities inside out. We pick the best combination of factory, Chinese port and destination port in Argentina.

No language barrier

We work in writing and assist you in Spanish, as well as English, the common standard in international shipping. Every detail stays clear and documented — no language barrier with the origin.

Entry ports in Argentina

The best port depends on where your final destination in Argentina is. We pick the one that connects best to cut inland transport cost and time.

Buenos Aires

The country's main container port, in the capital, and the great gateway for Asian cargo. Direct connection with the metropolitan area and the interior. The entry par excellence from China.

Zárate / Campana

Paraná River ports north of Buenos Aires, strong in automotive and ro-ro cargo. A good alternative for industrial and project cargo.

Rosario

A major hub on the Paraná River, key for the centre of the country and the agro-industrial region. Useful for volumes heading inland.

Montevideo (Uruguay) in transit

For certain services, cargo first reaches Montevideo —the great River Plate transhipment hub— and links on to Argentina. One more option depending on the route.

We also operate with other Argentine points: Buenos Aires (airport EZE) · Córdoba (COR) · Mendoza · Bahía Blanca

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 35–45 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Buenos Aires, often with transhipment in Montevideo or a regional hub. The route to the River Plate is long; we plan with margin.

Air · 7–11 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via Buenos Aires (EZE). Fast and tracked in real time.

Door to door (DDP)

We handle everything, including import duties and VAT, and deliver to your address. You just receive the goods.

Customs and taxes when importing into Argentina

We take care of clearance. Argentina has a particular import framework that changes frequently: over the years it has combined licensing or prior-authorisation systems and controls on access to foreign currency to pay abroad, and the specific rules have been amended several times. That's why we follow it closely and advise you on the regime in force at the time of your shipment. Clearance is processed with Customs and, as an importer, you should be registered accordingly. Imports are subject to duty (Argentina is part of Mercosur, with its common external tariff) and 21% VAT, plus possible advance perceptions of VAT and income tax. We coordinate everything with an Argentine broker so there are no surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and review the paperwork.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. International transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Argentina: authorisations in force, duty, VAT and perceptions.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in the country.
