Shipping from China to Brazil

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. Brazil is Latin America's largest market and its imports are famously complex: we handle it end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in Brazil that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

Mastery of the transpacific route

We know Chinese carriers, ports and export formalities inside out. We pick the best combination of factory, Chinese port and destination port in Brazil.

No language barrier

We work in writing and assist you in Spanish, as well as English, the common standard in international shipping. Every detail stays clear and documented — no language barrier with the origin.

Entry ports in Brazil

The best port depends on where your final destination in Brazil is. We pick the one that connects best to cut inland transport cost and time.

Santos

The largest port in Brazil and all of Latin America, next to São Paulo. It handles most of the country's container traffic and is the great gateway for trade with Asia. The entry par excellence from China.

Paranaguá

A major southern port, strong in container, agricultural bulk and industrial cargo. A good entry for the south of the country and the state of Paraná.

Itajaí / Navegantes

The great Santa Catarina port complex, very active in container and with excellent connections to southern Brazil's industry.

Itapoá / Rio de Janeiro

Itapoá (Santa Catarina) is a modern, efficient port; Rio de Janeiro and its surroundings (Itaguaí) serve the southeast and project cargo. Alternatives depending on the destination.

We also operate with other Brazilian points: São Paulo (airport GRU) · Campinas (VCP) · Suape · Salvador

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · 32–45 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Santos, Paranaguá or Itajaí. The route to South America's Atlantic coast is long; we plan with margin.

Air · 7–10 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via São Paulo (GRU) or Campinas (VCP). Fast and tracked in real time.

Door to door (DDP)

We handle everything, including import duties and taxes, and deliver to your address. You just receive the goods.

Customs and taxes when importing into Brazil

We take care of clearance. Brazil has one of the most demanding import regimes in the region, run by the Receita Federal through the SISCOMEX system: the importer must be authorised (RADAR) and an import declaration is filed. Goods are not subject to a single tax but to several stacked ones: the Import Tax (II), the IPI (on industrialised products), the PIS/COFINS contributions and the ICMS (a state VAT-type tax of around 17-18% depending on the destination state). Classifying the goods correctly and anticipating the total cost is key, because the sum can be high. We help with classification and coordinate clearance with a Brazilian broker, so there are no surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and review the paperwork.
  2. Export clearance at origin and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. International transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in Brazil: II, IPI, PIS/COFINS, ICMS and SISCOMEX formalities.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in the country.
