Shipping from China to the United States

We're a Chinese freight forwarder operating from the origin, where your goods are made and loaded. Importing directly from China brings barriers —the language, the distance, who to turn to— and our job is to make them a non-issue. The transpacific route to the United States is our daily business: we handle your shipment end to end —transport, documentation and customs—, with the prices you only get by working from the origin itself.

Why work with a forwarder at origin

Better price, no middlemen

You work with the people at the port of departure in China, not a middleman in the US that subcontracts. Fewer links, better price.

Control from the factory

We're where your goods are made and loaded: we coordinate pickup, consolidation and shipping from the very first metre.

Mastery of the transpacific route

We know Chinese carriers, airlines, ports and export formalities inside out. We pick the best combination of factory, Chinese port and destination coast in the US.

We assist you in English

We work in writing and keep everything documented in English, the common standard in international shipping, and in Spanish when you need it. Every detail stays clear for both sides — no language barrier with the origin.

Entry ports in the United States

The best port depends on where your final destination in the US is. The West Coast is fastest from Asia; the East Coast suits Atlantic destinations. We pick the one that connects best to cut cost and time.

Los Angeles / Long Beach

The largest port complex in the Western Hemisphere and the fastest entry for Asian cargo. Excellent rail and road connections across the country. The great US gateway for trade with China.

New York / New Jersey

The largest East Coast port, via the Panama Canal. Ideal for the Northeast, with large container capacity and distribution into the Atlantic interior.

Savannah

One of the country's fastest-growing container ports, the gateway to the Southeast, with excellent logistics parks and intermodal connections.

Houston

The great Gulf and southern gateway, strong in container, project cargo and industrial goods. A good base for Texas and the south-central US.

We also operate with other US points: Chicago (inland intermodal) · Seattle/Tacoma · Oakland · airports LAX · ORD · JFK

Transit times and transport modes

Sea · West Coast 14–22 days

The most cost-effective option. FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage) depending on your volume, to Los Angeles/Long Beach. The East Coast (New York, Savannah) adds days via the Panama Canal.

Air · 5–8 days

For urgent or high-value cargo, via LAX, Chicago (ORD) or New York (JFK). Fast and tracked in real time.

Inland intermodal

For landlocked destinations (Chicago, Dallas, Denver…), we link the ship with the US domestic rail network from the Pacific port. It cuts the final leg versus all-road haulage.

Customs and taxes when importing into the United States

We take care of clearance. In the US, customs is CBP (Customs and Border Protection): you need a registered importer (with its tax ID) and, usually, a customs bond. Before shipping, the ISF («10+2») is filed at least 24 hours in advance; a late or wrong ISF is penalised. Duty is settled under the product's HTS classification. An important point specific to Chinese-origin goods: on top of the general duty an additional tariff may apply (trade measures that have changed a lot in recent years), and since 2025 the «de minimis» exemption no longer applies to Chinese-origin shipments, so every shipment pays its duties. The US has no federal VAT: sales tax is state-level and is not charged on import. We calculate the up-to-date cost before shipping and coordinate clearance with a customs agent, so there are no surprises.

How it works, step by step

  1. We collect at the factory in China and review the paperwork.
  2. Export clearance at origin, ISF and loading via the best Chinese port.
  3. Transpacific transport (sea or air) with tracking.
  4. Import clearance in the US: duties and formalities with CBP.
  5. Final delivery to your warehouse or address, anywhere in the country.
